If anyone IS reading this, sorry about the lack of photos. I can't seem to get my camera and 'puter to live in harmony. As soon as I do I'll have photos phollow.
There are a few things which create a good pub, and I've narrowed them down to a few important categories.
First, there's quality of beer. If your going to a pub for the first time, they'd better hook you with a good tap menu.
Now, if you actually plan to pay for a pint instead of just browsing the menu, price becomes prominent.
Once you've got your sud, how's the locale? Is it a dive bar? A soul-less haven for the yuppie-wannabes? Or is it a beautifully updated modern setting, a classic wooden bar, or sports bar with a history of loyal fans? Character is that IT factor.
'Course, food is always good, a pub with lousy nachos or potato-mush fries is at a considerable disadvantage.
Wrap it all up with your provider, the dear server, the stoic but knowledgeable barman, or the failing university student. People really add to the presence of a pub and give the character vibrancy.
These five categories are the corner stones for this blog's rating system. Yes, my blog, it has five corners. Five corners has my blog. If I find a five sided pub I'm in heaven!
Thankyou so much for sharing this blog nice description i really like it..
